Questions
Everything we get asked, grouped. If it isn't here, send us a message.
Ordering
Is there a minimum order?+
No. One banner is fine. Trade discounts start at three units and step up at five and ten.
Can I order a non-standard size?+
Yes — anything from 200mm to 10m in either direction, priced to the millimetre by the calculator. Wider than 10m and we panel and join it.
Do I need an account to order?+
No. Checkout works as a guest. An account just keeps your order history and saved designs in one place, and makes reordering quicker.
Can I get a VAT invoice?+
Yes. All prices are shown excluding VAT and the VAT is itemised at checkout and on your invoice.
Artwork
What file format should I send?+
Print-ready PDF is ideal — CMYK, fonts outlined, 10mm bleed. We also take AI, EPS, PSD and high-resolution JPEG or PNG. If you're unsure, send it anyway and we'll tell you what needs changing.
What resolution do you need?+
Less than you'd expect. Large format is viewed at distance, so 150dpi at final size is plenty up close and 72dpi is fine for a building wrap. Our designer shows the effective dpi of every image and warns below 100.
Do you check my artwork?+
Yes, free, on every order. A person checks resolution, colour, bleed and whether the material suits the location. We don't proofread — spelling and phone numbers are printed exactly as supplied.
Can you design it for me?+
You can design it yourself in our online editor, free, with live bleed and safe-area guides. For anything more involved, send us a brief and we'll quote.
Materials
Which material should I choose?+
PVC for most outdoor use, mesh anywhere exposed to wind such as scaffold or fencing, fabric for indoor display and photography. Choosing solid PVC for an exposed site is the single most common mistake.
How long will a banner last outside?+
PVC and mesh are rated three years-plus in UK weather. Fabric is indoor-first — it'll survive a wet weekend, not a winter on a fence.
What's the difference between mesh and PVC?+
Mesh is perforated so wind passes through it. On a free-standing fence or scaffold a solid banner acts as a sail and either tears or takes the fence with it.
Delivery
How fast can I get a banner?+
Super Express is a genuine 24 hours on PVC and mesh if artwork is approved before 1pm. Express is 2–3 working days, standard 5–6. Delivery sits on top of production.
How much is delivery?+
£14.50 + VAT to UK mainland, free over £250 + VAT. Highlands, islands and Northern Ireland are charged at cost and quoted before dispatch.
Do you deliver plain-packed?+
Always, at no extra cost. Nothing on the box identifies us, so you can ship straight to your client.
What if it arrives damaged?+
Tell us within 3 working days with photographs of the goods and packaging. Where the fault is ours or the carrier's we reprint and re-send at our cost.
Trade
Do you offer trade accounts?+
Most of what we print goes out under someone else's brand. Volume discounts apply automatically at 3, 5 and 10 units — no application, no minimum spend, no annual commitment.
Will my client know you printed it?+
No. Plain packaging as standard, and your own details on the delivery note on request.
Can I use my own discount code?+
If we've issued you one, enter it at checkout and it applies automatically.
