Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

01Who is responsible for your data
BannerLab Print Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at hello@bannerlab.co.uk.
Needs completing: Add the registered company address and, if you are required to register, your ICO registration number. Most UK businesses processing personal data electronically must register with the ICO and pay the data protection fee.
02What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect:
- Your name and, if given, your company name
- Your email address and any phone number you provide
- The details of what you are asking us to print
If you go on to place an order we will also hold order records, delivery addresses and the artwork you supply.
We do not collect payment card details through this website, and we never ask for them by email.
03Why we use it, and on what basis
We use your details to answer your enquiry, produce and deliver your order, and keep the records a business is required to keep.
The lawful basis is performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one. Where we keep records for accounting and tax, the basis is our legal obligation.
We will not add you to a marketing list off the back of an enquiry without asking you first.
04Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary, and only with organisations that help us fulfil your order:
- Couriers, who need the delivery name and address
- Our hosting provider, which processes site traffic
- Our accountants, for invoicing and tax records
We do not sell personal data, and we never have.
Needs completing: List your actual processors by name once your stack is settled — courier, email provider, form handler, analytics if you add any. A privacy policy that names no one is hard to rely on.
05How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become orders are deleted within 12 months. Order and invoice records are kept for 6 years, which is the period HMRC requires. Artwork files are kept for 12 months after your order so reprints are straightforward, then deleted unless you ask us to retain them.
06Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correct anything inaccurate
- Delete it, where we are not required to keep it
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Transfer it to another provider
Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
07Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and runs no third-party analytics. Nothing you do here is profiled or sold on, which is why there is no cookie banner asking for your consent.
Needs completing: This is accurate today. If you add analytics, a chat widget, a pixel or embedded video, this section must change and you will most likely need a consent banner under PECR.
