PVC Banners
The default choice for outdoor banners, and the one we print most of. 510gsm blockout PVC is waterproof, tear-resistant and rated for three-plus years in UK weather without fading to a pastel version of your artwork.

Not the right choice for: Exposed high-wind sites. Solid PVC acts as a sail — use mesh where wind can't pass around the banner.
Why blockout matters
Blockout PVC has an opaque core, so light from behind doesn't wash the print out and a double-sided banner doesn't ghost one side through the other. Cheaper frontlit PVC looks identical flat on a desk and noticeably worse hanging in daylight.
Hems and eyelets
Hems are welded rather than stitched — stitching perforates the material and gives wind a line to tear along. Brass eyelets every 500mm as standard, closer on request, and reinforced corners on anything heading somewhere exposed.
Sizes
Priced to the millimetre, not rounded to the next standard size. Up to 3.2m in one direction with no join; larger and we panel and weld it, which we'll tell you about before printing rather than after.
Common questions
How long will a PVC banner last outside?+
Three years or more in normal UK conditions, correctly installed. Direct coastal exposure and constant strong sun shorten that.
Can PVC banners be printed double sided?+
Yes. We print both sides onto a single 650gsm blockout sheet rather than bonding two banners together, so it stays flexible and neither side shows through.
What's the largest PVC banner you can print?+
3.2m wide in a single piece, any length. Beyond that we panel and weld, which is invisible at viewing distance.
