Panelling large wraps
Anything wider than 3.2m is printed as panels. We add overlap and alignment marks so a crew at height can line it up without measuring, and we tell you the panel layout before printing.
Wind loading
Mesh is not optional at height. Scaffold banners carry serious wind load, and many scaffold contractors and insurers require permeable material. Check with the scaffolder before ordering solid PVC.
Viewing distance
A banner read from 50 metres doesn't need the resolution of one read from two. We'll tell you if your artwork is over-specified for the distance — it only slows the upload.
Common questions
Do I need permission for a scaffold banner?+
Often yes — advertising consent from the local authority, and the scaffolder's agreement on wind loading. Worth checking before you order.
How are very large banners joined?+
Printed as panels up to 3.2m wide with overlap and alignment marks, so they can be lined up on site without measuring.
What resolution does the artwork need?+
Less than you'd think. At 50m viewing distance, artwork at a tenth of full size is fine. Our online designer warns you if a file is genuinely too small.
